Solitaire is a mobile card game that recreates the addictive gameplay of the classic Windows version.
Whoever thought up the idea to include Solitaire in Windows has been responsible for millions of hours of lost productivity. Now you can get distracted by the mesmeric one-player card game on your Google phone thanks to this version of Solitaire for Android.
It comes with four different game modes: Solitaire, Spider, Freecell and Forty Thieves, all of which are played by dragging cards around using the touchscreen. If you're not well versed in any of these variants of solitaire then you're on your own (literally) because the game doesn't include any in-depth instructions on the rules of the games.
There are a few options in Solitaire that you can tinker around with. For instance, you can show large cards, toggle time display on and off, deal one or three cards, etc. Unfortunately you don't get the option to change the design of the cards or choose a different background.
It's not the most polished version of Solitaire I've ever seen, but it still has all the addictive properties of the original.
